Why do we donate part of every sale to both protect existing forests and plant new trees? We believe that we all have a responsibility to protect the world in which we love.
]]>Why do we donate part of every sale to both protect existing forests and planting new trees?
The short answer is, both actions are essential in the fight against climate change. It’s incredibly important to protect old forests as well as the new. New trees take years to develop their carbon-absorbing powers; mature forests are already doing the job.
The Amazon Rainforests are home to over 10% of the world's known species. It's estimated that there are over 40,000 different plants, many of which are the basis of essential pharmaceutical medicines.
Illegal timber poaching and commercialisation of the rainforest is leading to deforestation at an alarming rate of three football fields per minute. It takes decades to recover the damage done in a single minute. Preserving these ecosystems, and supporting local communities that protect them are also brilliant side effects of conserving existing trees.
We believe that we all have a responsibility to protect the world in which we love. If the rainforest is the lungs of the planet together we can help the world breathe.

]]>Across all areas of our business, we are working hard to be part of an elevated world that operates within nature’s boundaries and continuously improve our environmental footprint. The most important part of our project is making sure that the money we donate makes a difference.
We work with a number of charities and projects to ensure we can give back.
Pachama is a verified standard project that helps to conserve existing rainforests, communities and helps to replant the trees lost within the Brazilian Rainforest. The great work doesn't stop there, the project works to offset our carbon and give back to the communities in which we draw resources from.
Through the Give and Grow Project we give a percentage of each sale to support the planting of new trees in global reforestation projects. It costs as little as $0.11 to provide support and care for a tree to be planted and start fighting climate change. Through the real time donation tracking this is an exciting way for us to see how many trees the contributions we make from our clothing can make a positive difference.
We are integrated with Pledgeling Giving which enables customers to round up their sale and donate the difference or donate a pound to help fight climate change.
We also work with a number of local charities within the UK to make sure we can make a difference within our closest sphere of influence.
]]>We believe we can all make a difference and we use these beliefs and values in the design process to create a socially conscious designs that customers can trust. It is important in the process to ask what's the most we can do to create an amazing product.

We believe in doing things a little differently and we firmly advocate investing in quality over quantity. That is why we choose the best quality sustainable fabrics and the use the highest skilled people during the manufacturing process to create our beautifully sportswear. We want to create something special that is built to last. The better we design and manufacture our clothes the easier it is to buy less and buy better.
It is our quest to keep growing, improving and continuously searching for new and exciting materials, silhouettes and finishes.
With each design we are finding better production methods and materials to help in our quest for sustainable designer sportswear and fashion. This is one of the best ways for us to lead the way for the modern consumer to be more sustainable, look good and benefit the world.
]]>In our journey to become carbon neutral environmentally-friendly brand that invests in sustainability initiatives, we are excited to work with Pachama to counteract the environmental impact of creating our unique designer sportswear.
Our mission to be an ethical, sustainable and carbon neutral brand is to give back to the environment from where we source our fabrics and to eliminate the carbon footprint we leave behind.
We believe the protecting and restoring the forests is the most effective way we can take action to recapture CO2 from the atmosphere to solve climate change, while providing biodiversity and being able to give back to the relevant communities through benefits like quality education, gender equality, zero hunger and responsible production.
The Amazon rainforest is one of the most incredible natural wonders on Planet Earth. Often referred to as the ‘lungs of the planet,’ 20% of the world’s carbon is absorbed by the Amazon alone! Beyond carbon, the Amazon is also home to 10% of the world’s known species (2.5 million insect species alone), and 40,000 plant species (many of which are the basis of our pharmaceutical medicines).
Unfortunately, the Amazon is under tremendous pressure from agriculture and illegal timber harvesting. It is estimated that the Amazon is being deforested at a rate of 3 football fields per minute and that we’ve already lost 15–17% of the forest. This deforestation of existing forests accounts for 12–15% of global greenhouse gas emissions, more than all of the European Union combined. Old-growth, tropical forests already sequester significant amounts of carbon dioxide from the air, as well as support healthy ecosystems and local communities.
The Jari Pará project location is particularly critical to the fight against deforestation. The project is at the forefront of active deforestation in the region and is looking to stop the continuous encroachment of illegal timber harvesting. The current political environment in the region is making this effort particularly challenging. While the project is seeing some smaller areas of deforestation happening within its bounds, contributions from DISHONOR and companies like us provide the region with more resources to deploy ranger patrols to combat illegal harvesters and together we can make a difference.
